Srimoyee Sarkar and Sriparna Sarkar are first-generation entrepreneurs and the director of Rangmilap Private Limited, a home-grown artisanal saree brand rooted in India’s rich handloom and textile traditions. Rangmilap reflects their shared passion for fabrics and design and their commitment to creating a meaningful bridge between rural craftsmanship and contemporary urban sensibilities.

Transitioning from established careers in the IT sector, the sisters chose to step beyond the comfort of white-collar professions to build a purpose-driven enterprise. What began with a humble vision has today evolved into a growing ecosystem of hundreds of weavers, karigars and painters, working collectively to preserve traditional techniques while creating relevance at a national level.
